Management and Sales Intern - Manufacturing

Join Sherwin-Williams as a 2027 Management & Sales Summer Intern and gain hands-on experience with a global leader in paints and coatings. You'll support store and field sales activities, assist with daily operations, and learn how we serve industrial, commercial, and manufacturing customers. Working alongside experienced managers, you'll help with customer visits, merchandising, inventory, and basic sales reporting while upholding our culture of safety, integrity, and inclusion. This internship offers structured training, mentoring, and a pathway toward future roles in sales or management.

Responsibilities

• Support store and field sales initiatives to drive coatings and product sales in assigned territory
• Assist with branch operations including inventory checks, merchandising, and order processing
• Participate in customer meetings, product demos, and store visits with sales representatives
• Analyze local market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
• Track sales activities, prepare basic reports, and update CRM or internal systems
• Collaborate with managers and teammates on special projects and promotional campaigns
• Learn Sherwin-Williams product lines, application methods, and value propositions
• Provide excellent customer service through problem-solving and product recommendations
• Follow all safety policies and procedures in store, warehouse, and customer locations
• Engage in training, coaching and performance feedback sessions to build sales and leadership skills
