Over-the-Road Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport freight safely and on time across assigned routes
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues
• Comply with DOT, company safety, and hours-of-service regulations
• Secure and handle freight according to ATS and customer requirements
• Maintain accurate logs, trip reports, and delivery documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff
• Provide professional, courteous customer service at pick-up and delivery sites
• Participate in ongoing safety meetings and training programs
