Associate Attorney

California Accident Firm APC seeks an Associate Attorney to join our plaintiff-side personal injury team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will manage a caseload under partner supervision, conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and handle discovery in car, motorcycle, truck, and rideshare accident matters. You will communicate directly with clients, prepare them for depositions and hearings, and coordinate with medical providers and experts. This position offers hands-on litigation exposure, trial preparation experience, and the opportunity to advocate for injured clients in a collaborative, client-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury cases from intake through resolution under partner supervision
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
• Handle client communication, updates, and preparation for depositions and hearings
• Assist with case evaluation, liability analysis, and damages assessment
• Attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances as assigned
• Coordinate with medical providers, experts, and investigators to support claims
• Prepare demand packages and assist in settlement negotiations
• Maintain organized case files and ensure deadlines and statutes are met
• Collaborate with team members to develop litigation strategy
