Housekeeping Cleaner - Deep Cleaning & Special Projects (Hospitality)

Marriott International, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Special Projects associate to support our Hospitality & Travel operations. Responsibilities

• Perform deep-cleaning and special housekeeping projects in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Operate commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and extractors safely and effectively.
• Handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Follow project plans and work orders, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and operational needs.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets Marriott's cleanliness and brand standards.
• Identify and report maintenance or repair needs observed during special projects.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Front Office teams to minimize guest disruption during projects.
• Respond courteously to guest inquiries or requests encountered while working on projects.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security of housekeeping carts, closets, and equipment.
• Support training or mentoring of other team members on deep-cleaning methods and equipment use.
• Adhere to all safety, security, and regulatory requirements, including proper use of ladders and equipment.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, to support seasonal or event-driven project needs.
