As a forward-thinking organisation, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our team and drive growth and delivery in the Rail civils and infrastructure markets in Wales & western.
The role will cover civils packages for various clients the Wales & Western region and delivery partnerships to the new CP7 framework.
The Enable Infrastructure Delivery Team proudly delivers infrastructure solutions going above and beyond for our customer and leaving lasting legacy within the community.
This role is overseeing the full life cycle and delivery of projects. They will supervise the work of construction managers and other project staff. The Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of projects on time and on budget. This PM role also involves undertaking the duties of Contractor’s Responsible Engineer (CRE-C) for the construction involved with our railway projects in compliance with the Network Rail standards. As a CRE-C, they will also be accountable for ensuring all temporary works are being managed compliantly. This will include ensuring engineering assessments of nominated personnel carrying out engineering roles within their remit.
Experience
* Experience in the Installation, construction and deliver of infrastructure projects
* Rail civils experience.
Qualifications
* MAPM or Similar or Degree (Mandatory)
* APMG Project Planning & Control™ Foundation and Practitioner (or working towards), or PRINCE
* Hold Authorised CRE status (minimum under mentorship).
Technical skills
* Numerate and able to demonstrate strong excel, project and PowerPoint skills, computer literacy is essential.
* An excellent understanding of project controls and commercial management
* NEC contract & Network Rail contract appreciation or accreditation.
Additional skills
* Strong organisational and teamwork skills
* A proactive approach with an ability to learn new technologies
* A proven understanding of all H&S regulations, policies, standards, and legislation Knowledge within the industry
* APM
* PTS tickets
* SMSTS
* CSCS card
* Previous CRE-C nomination and experience.
