Job Description
Marriott is seeking a Building Engineer III to help keep hotel facilities safe, reliable, and welcoming for guests and associates. In this hands-on role, you will inspect, maintain, and repair building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life-safety systems. You will troubleshoot issues, complete preventive maintenance, respond to work requests, document repairs, and coordinate with hotel teams and contractors to limit disruption to daily operations. Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair building systems and equipment at a Marriott property.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life-safety issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
- Document completed work, equipment conditions, and identified hazards.
- Coordinate with hotel teams and contractors to minimize disruption to guests and operations.
- Follow safety procedures, building codes, and Marriott service standards.
