Dairy Production Supervisor - Food Manufacturing

Meijer is seeking a Dairy Production Relief Supervisor to support safe, efficient operations in our retail dairy production facility. In this role, you'll provide relief supervision across shifts, coordinate daily production, and ensure adherence to food safety, quality, and sanitation standards. You'll lead and coach team members, address line issues, monitor yields and waste, and maintain accurate production records. Working in a fast-paced, values-driven environment, you'll help optimize processes, support cross-functional partners, and contribute to Meijer's commitment to quality and community.

Responsibilities

• Provide relief supervision across dairy production shifts to ensure coverage and continuity of operations
• Oversee daily production activities, meeting safety, quality, and throughput targets
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, GMP, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor production lines, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate maintenance support as needed
• Lead, train, and coach team members, supporting a culture of safety, respect, and teamwork
• Track yields, waste, and downtime, and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and incident records and reports
• Partner with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to meet customer and store needs
• Support implementation of Lean, 5
• S, and continuous improvement initiatives in the facility
• Model Meijer values and support a positive, inclusive work environment
