Industrial Maintenance Technician

Sazerac Company seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support high-volume spirits manufacturing operations. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on bottling, packaging, and process equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and minimize downtime in a fast-paced, growth-oriented plant. You'll read schematics, work with PLC-driven systems, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Collaborating with production and engineering, you'll recommend improvements, document work in a CMMS, and help drive reliability and continuous improvement across iconic spirits brands.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on bottling, packaging, and process equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and electrical schematics to diagnose equipment issues.
• Support PLC-driven and automated systems in coordination with engineering and controls specialists.
• Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and work orders in a CMMS or similar maintenance system.
• Collaborate with production teams to prioritize repairs and schedule maintenance around line needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including LOTO, OSHA, and company policies.
• Identify and recommend equipment and process improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Assist with installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment and line modifications.
• Participate in continuous improvement and root cause analysis efforts to reduce unplanned downtime.
