We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
Diagnose issues with HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
Perform field service tasks to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues effectively.
Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing and electrical to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory of parts used.
Adhere to safety protocols while performing all tasks in compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in construction or property maintenance.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
Familiarity with HVAC design principles and refrigeration cycles.
Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and pressure gauges.
Ability to perform welding tasks as needed for equipment repair.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
