Sheet Metal Construction Superintendent

Upchurch is seeking a Sheetmetal Superintendent to lead field execution on complex commercial projects. In this role, you will supervise sheet metal crews, coordinate with project managers and general contractors, and ensure high-quality, code-compliant installations. Responsibilities include planning daily work, managing labor and materials, maintaining schedules, and enforcing strict safety standards. You will interpret drawings, resolve site issues, and support inspections and client walk-throughs. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise sheet metal crews on commercial project sites
• Plan daily work, allocate labor, and coordinate with project managers and GCs
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate installation
• Monitor quality, safety, and code compliance on all work performed
• Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment logistics
• Track progress, report production, and help maintain project schedules and budgets
• Train and mentor field technicians and apprentices
• Support client and inspector walk-throughs and resolve site issues
