Class 1 Driver

City Resource is seeking Class 1 Drivers on behalf of a key client in the general haulage industry. We are looking for reliable and experienced drivers to join our team, providing excellent service and ensuring timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

* Safely operate Class 1 vehicles to deliver goods as per schedule.

* Provide quick responses to booking requests—ideally within one hour.

* Ensure honesty and transparency when communicating about availability and job status.

* Assist with the loading and unloading of packaging products. This may involve using lifting equipment or performing manual handling tasks.

* Report any delays, issues, or concerns immediately to ensure smooth operations.

* Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

* Valid Class 1 HGV license.

* A minimum of 12 months of Class 1 driving experience.

* Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.

* Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules when required.

* Valid TACHO card and CPC Card.

* No more than 6 points on licence.
