Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL A tractor-trailer on regional routes hauling dry van freight
• Maintain full compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations, including accurate ELD logs
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects
• Ensure on-time, damage-free pickup and delivery of freight for major shippers
• Secure loads properly and follow company safety procedures at all times
• Communicate proactively with dispatch and operations about routes, delays, and issues
• Manage hours-of-service to optimize miles while maintaining safety standards
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers and shipper/receiver staff
• Care for assigned equipment, reporting maintenance needs promptly
• Contribute to a respectful, team-oriented culture focused on reliability and integrity
