Industrial Electrician

Cargill is seeking a skilled and certified electrician to join our dedicated Technical & Maintenance team within the manufacturing sector. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability and functionality of electrical systems and components across our various operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the operational excellence that helps Cargill nourish and sustain the global community, ensuring all electrical installations and repairs are conducted to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Ensure all work complies with company safety standards and local electrical codes.
• Regularly inspect equipment to ascertain necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems in commercial and industrial environments.
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate with management to schedule projects and reduce machinery downtime.
• Document and create logs for all electrical maintenance and repair work.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in reading electrical and construction blueprints and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent knowledge of wiring regulations and safety standards.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
