Hazmat Class A Regional Truck Driver

Ryder System seeks a Hazmat Class A Regional Driver to safely transport hazardous materials across assigned regional routes. In this field-based role, you'll operate late-model Ryder equipment, perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain strict compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and hazmat regulations. You'll manage timely pickups and deliveries, complete accurate ELD and shipment documentation, and coordinate with dispatch and customers. Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor-trailer on regional routes hauling hazardous materials
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
• Ensure full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and hazmat regulations and company safety policies
• Accurately complete ELD entries, logs, and shipment documentation
• Secure and handle hazardous freight according to regulations and Ryder procedures
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, and operations for on-time pickups and deliveries
• Respond appropriately to incidents and follow emergency and spill procedures
• Maintain a clean, professional vehicle and represent Ryder to customers
• Participate in safety meetings and required training
• Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
