Heavy Equipment Operator

H&K Group, Inc., a pioneering provider of construction materials and contracting services since 1968, is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient execution of construction projects within the Mid-Atlantic region by operating heavy machinery according to project demands and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders to execute construction tasks.
• Ensure daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment before and after operations.
• Collaborate with other crew members to ensure that tasks are completed in accordance with project specifications.
• Understand and interpret site plans and construction drawings.
• Follow safety guidelines and company standards at all project sites.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment as needed.
• Report any machine malfunctions and participate in troubleshooting solutions.
• Adhere to local, federal, and environmental regulations concerning construction site operations.
