Commercial Terminals Analyst - Midstream Energy

Plains is seeking a Commercial Terminals Specialist to drive the commercial performance of our midstream energy terminals. You will manage customer contracts, optimize throughput and storage utilization, and coordinate closely with operations, scheduling, and marketing teams to maximize asset value. Responsibilities include pricing support, volume forecasting, performance reporting, and ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations. You'll work in a safety-first, performance-driven culture with opportunities to expand into broader commercial, technical, or leadership roles across Plains' North American network.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial performance of Plains' terminals, including contracts, throughput, and storage utilization
• Support pricing, contract terms, and commercial proposals in alignment with company strategy
• Forecast volumes and revenues; track KPIs and prepare regular performance reports
• Coordinate with operations, scheduling, and marketing to ensure efficient, safe terminal execution
• Maintain strong customer relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving service issues
• Ensure activities align with Plains' safety-first culture and applicable regulations and policies
• Analyze market trends and asset performance to identify optimization and growth opportunities
• Use data tools and systems to monitor inventories, nominations, and capacity allocations
• Support budgeting and planning for terminal assets
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the midstream network
