Hiring - Personal Injury & Litigation Paralegal

• Our firm is seeking to hire a personal injury paralegal to work independently and with attorney in all aspects of small firm plaintiff's personal injury/claimant's workers compensation practice. Candidate will be responsible for client intake, reporting to insurance carriers, obtaining and organizing medical records and bills, speaking directly with clients and insurance adjusters, physical and cloud-based filing systems, as well as preparing demand packages and settlement documents. Candidate will also be responsible for medical lien issues with Medicaid/Medicare and health insurance liens. Candidate will likewise be responsible for drafting complaints, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, calendaring, case deadline management, and trial preparation. Candidate will need excellent knowledge of Maryland Rules, Clio, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software applications. Experience required 3+ years. BA preferred. Prior medical/orthopedic experience a plus. Salary commensurate with experience; health insurance, retirement benefits (after satisfactory completion of probationary/training period).
