Distribution Center Facilities Manager

As a Facility Manager at US Foods, you will lead daily operations of our wholesale distribution facility, ensuring a safe, reliable, and efficient environment that supports high-volume foodservice logistics. You'll oversee building systems, HVAC/refrigeration, material-handling equipment, and grounds, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime. Partnering with operations and safety teams, you'll drive OSHA and regulatory compliance, manage vendors and capital projects, control budgets, and coach a frontline team in our performance-driven, customer-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the distribution facility, ensuring uptime and reliability for foodservice logistics
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for building systems, refrigeration, HVAC, and material-handling equipment
• Implement and enforce OSHA, safety, and regulatory compliance standards throughout the facility
• Lead, schedule, and develop maintenance and facility staff in a performance-driven culture
• Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and capital improvement projects
• Monitor and control facility operating and maintenance budgets, seeking cost-saving opportunities
• Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and transportation leaders to align facility performance with business needs
• Maintain documentation, inspections, and records for audits, regulatory reviews, and internal reporting
