Job Description
BLT Management LLC is seeking a Dock Master to oversee the daily operation and upkeep of a marina serving a vibrant mixed-use community. You will coordinate vessel arrivals, departures, dock assignments, and reservations; help guests and slip holders with questions; and ensure safe, orderly use of docks and marina amenities. Conduct routine inspections, coordinate maintenance and vendor work, maintain accurate occupancy and incident records, and respond promptly to safety concerns or emergencies. Work closely with property operations and community teams to deliver a welcoming, well-maintained experience for residents and visitors. The ideal candidate brings marina or waterfront operations experience, strong communication and organizational skills, sound safety judgment, and flexibility to support a busy, guest-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily marina and dock operations, including vessel arrivals, departures, assignments, and reservations.
- Assist slip holders and visitors and provide courteous information about marina facilities.
- Monitor dock use and enforce safety procedures and applicable marina rules.
- Inspect docks and related facilities; report issues and coordinate maintenance and vendor work.
- Maintain accurate occupancy, reservation, maintenance, and incident records.
- Respond to safety concerns and emergencies and coordinate with property operations teams.
- Collaborate with community and property staff to maintain a welcoming guest experience.
