Fire Sprinkler Fitter

Johnson Controls is seeking a Sprinkler Fitter to install, fabricate, and service fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial facilities. In this safety-focused role, you will read blueprints, measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipe, hang and align systems, and perform hydrostatic testing to meet NFPA and local code requirements. You'll collaborate with project managers and inspectors, document work, and ensure high-quality, on-time completion. Responsibilities

• Install, fabricate, and assemble fire sprinkler piping and components per NFPA and local codes
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and job specifications to plan sprinkler installations
• Measure, cut, thread, and hang pipe, ensuring proper alignment, support, and system operation
• Perform hydrostatic and functional testing, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments
• Work safely on active jobsites, following OSHA and company safety standards and procedures
• Collaborate with foremen, project managers, inspectors, and other trades to coordinate work
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and test results
• Inspect existing systems, complete repairs and modifications, and support service calls
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment in good working order
• Represent Johnson Controls professionally with customers, upholding company values and quality standards
