Mechanical / Electrical Test Engineer

A large engineering company who design, install and maintain LV & HV electrical equipment are looking to recruit a n experienced Mechcanical / Electrical Test Engineer to work at their production facility in Rugby . In the role of Test Engineer, you will test large machinery used in the power generation sector that has come into the workshop for repair and maintenance. Experience with understanding and testing large machinery and HV electrical equipment is required. Benefits: c£35k + OT Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4pm, and Friday 7.30am -1pm 25 days holiday per year + stats Gym subsidy payment Enhanced company contribution pension scheme Access to courses and training events Discounts from corporate benefits site Responsibilities of Mechcanical / Electrical Test Engineer: Complete static and dynamic electrical tests on a range of LV and HV equipment Take accurate notes and produce test reports Assist in providing accurate information to clients when required Comply with risk assessments and method statements to correctly manage any potential risks during testing Required skills of Mechcanical / Electrical Test Engineer: Experience with HV electrical testing on rotating machines Ideally ONC / HNC qualifications in electrical engineering Knowledge of motors and generators and the testing of them If you are an experienced Test Engineerlooking for a great opportunity, please contact Stuart Cooper directly on for further details.
