Digital Press Prepress Technician

MCC seeks a Digital Press Finisher to produce high-quality printed materials that support our global relief, development, and peacebuilding mission. This role operates and maintains digital presses and finishing equipment, performs trimming, binding, folding, and packaging, and ensures color accuracy and print quality. The Finisher manages print queues, troubleshoots basic mechanical issues, and follows production schedules and safety standards. Collaborating with communications and program staff, this position helps deliver timely, accurate materials that reflect MCC's faith-driven, service-oriented values.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor digital press and finishing equipment to meet quality and output standards
• Perform trimming, folding, binding, and packaging of printed materials
• Ensure color consistency, image quality, and accurate finishing per job specifications
• Prepare and review files, proofs, and work orders before production
• Maintain equipment through routine cleaning, basic troubleshooting, and minor adjustments
• Manage print queues, prioritize jobs, and meet production deadlines
• Track paper, toner, and supplies, initiating reorders as needed
• Follow all safety, security, and quality-control procedures in the print area
• Collaborate with communications and program staff to clarify requirements and schedules
• Support MCC's faith-driven mission by producing materials that reflect organizational standards and values
