Process Engineer - Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing

As a Process Engineer - Life Science Manufacturing, you drive continuous improvement of MilliporeSigma production processes. You troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing issues, analyze process data, and lead Lean Six Sigma projects to improve efficiency, quality, and reliability. You standardize and optimize production systems, support integration of new technologies, and help ensure safe, compliant, and stable GMP operations on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between engineering and life science manufacturing teams to deliver strategic and tactical process projects.
• Lead continuous improvement of production processes to increase efficiency, quality, and performance.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support for manufacturing issues and process changes.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma methods to reduce waste and optimize production workflows.
• Plan and execute process improvement projects within defined timelines, budgets, and specifications.
• Analyze process data, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Standardize and document production systems to support maintainability, uptime, and cost control.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools while meeting safety, quality, and GMP expectations.
