Learning and Development Advisor - Energy

BP Energy is seeking an L&D Advisor to design, deliver, and optimize learning solutions that build capabilities across our U.S. operations. In this role, you will partner with business and HR leaders to assess skill gaps, develop targeted curricula, and facilitate engaging learning experiences that support safety, compliance, technical excellence, and leadership growth. You will create blended learning programs, from e-learning and microlearning to instructor-led workshops and coaching, ensuring they reflect BP's culture of safety, integrity, inclusion, and continuous improvement. Using data and learner feedback, you will evaluate impact and refine offerings while contributing to global learning initiatives, providing employees with clear development paths in a dynamic, low carbon focused energy business.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver learning strategies and programs that build capabilities across BP Energy's U.
• S. operations
• Conduct needs assessments with business leaders to identify skill gaps and performance improvement opportunities
• Develop curriculum, e-learning, and blended learning solutions aligned to safety, compliance, and technical requirements
• Facilitate live workshops, virtual sessions, and coaching for employees and people managers
• Measure training effectiveness using data, feedback, and KPIs; recommend improvements based on insights
• Partner with HR, safety, and business stakeholders to support talent development and career pathways
• Manage learning projects, vendors, and platforms to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
• Ensure learning content reflects BP's values of safety, integrity, inclusion, and sustainability
• Support global learning initiatives and knowledge sharing across regions and functions
• Maintain documentation and compliance for mandatory training and certifications
