Building Automation Controls Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end controls projects for commercial and industrial facilities, from planning through commissioning
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans to meet customer and contractual requirements
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Oversee installation and integration of building automation and control systems to Johnson Controls standards
• Manage project risks, change orders, documentation, and compliance with safety and quality policies
• Act as primary customer contact, providing status updates and resolving technical and commercial issues
• Review and interpret controls designs, sequences of operation, and submittals for accuracy
• Track project performance using KPIs and reporting tools; drive corrective actions as needed
• Support testing, start-up, and commissioning activities, ensuring systems perform to design intent
• Contribute to continuous improvement, best practices, and knowledge sharing across the project team
