Electromechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician

Charter Aarrowcast is seeking a Maintenance Electromechanic Technician to keep foundry equipment running safely and reliably. You'll troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on furnaces, conveyors, molding lines, and machining cells. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, equipment installation, and supporting upgrades to modern foundry technology. You'll work closely with production and engineering teams in a safety-focused, team-oriented culture that emphasizes training, technical growth, and continuous improvement in a stable manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on foundry electromechanical equipment, conveyors, furnaces, and machining cells
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using meters, schematics, and diagnostic tools
• Install, align, and repair motors, drives, sensors, PLC controlled systems, and related components
• Complete work orders, document repairs, and communicate equipment status to production and leadership
• Support continuous improvement, reliability, and safety initiatives in a high temperature manufacturing environment
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance

• Industrial electrical troubleshooting (480
• V, motors, drives)
• Reading electrical and mechanical schematics
• PLC-controlled equipment familiarity
• Mechanical repair, alignment, and fabrication
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems maintenance
• Preventive and predictive maintenance
• Use of multimeters and diagnostic tools
• Welding and basic machining skills
• Lockout/tagout and industrial safety practices
• Foundry or heavy manufacturing maintenance experience
