Healthcare Facilities Operations Manager

Manage hospital facilities, equipment, and systems to support safe, reliable clinical operations. Lead maintenance teams and contractors, oversee preventive maintenance and capital projects, manage budgets and service contracts, and ensure facility quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of hospital facilities, equipment, and systems.
• Supervise in-house facilities staff and manage external service providers, contractors, and service contracts.
• Plan and oversee facility maintenance and capital projects, including scope, budgets, schedules, and logistics.
• Monitor HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems; oversee testing, audits, and corrective actions.
• Prepare and track budgets, support long-range facilities planning, and recommend resources for operational needs.
• Develop maintenance policies, quality controls, and procedures; respond to facility emergencies and ensure regulatory compliance.
