CDL Class A Regional Truck Driver (Touch Freight)

Ryder System is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Driver for regional, hourly routes with touch freight. In this role, you will safely operate a tractor-trailer, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and load/unload freight using pallet jacks or manual methods. You'll follow strict DOT and Ryder safety standards, maintain accurate electronic logs, and provide professional customer service at each stop. Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class A tractor-trailer on regional routes with frequent freight touch.
• Load and unload freight using pallet jacks or hand tools while following safety procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting and reporting defects.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation per DOT and company policy.
• Adhere to all DOT, company, and customer safety and compliance standards.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff.
• Secure freight to prevent damage and ensure safe transport.
