Senior Living Activities Coordinator

HumanGood community is seeking an Activity Coordinator to design and lead engaging programs for older adults in our senior living community. In this role, you will plan daily recreational, social, educational, and wellness activities that support residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being. You'll collaborate with care and dining teams, manage calendars and event logistics, communicate with residents and families, and track participation. Ideal candidates are creative, organized, compassionate, and enjoy building relationships with seniors in a mission-driven, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and lead daily recreational, social, educational, and wellness activities for residents
• Assess resident interests and abilities to tailor individualized and group programs
• Coordinate event logistics, materials, transportation, and room setup
• Collaborate with nursing, dining, and social services teams to support holistic resident care
• Maintain activity calendars, attendance records, and required documentation
• Communicate program information to residents, families, and team members
• Encourage participation and provide support to residents with varying abilities
• Ensure activities follow safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
• Assist with special events, celebrations, and community outings
• Contribute to a compassionate, resident-centered community culture
