Haul Truck Driver

Holt Group is seeking a reliable Haul Truck Driver to safely move soil, rock, and other materials across active job sites. In this field-based role, you'll operate heavy haul trucks, follow designated haul routes, and strictly adhere to safety and traffic procedures. Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting mechanical issues, and performing basic cleaning and upkeep of the vehicle. You'll coordinate with site supervisors and equipment operators via radio, adapt to changing site and weather conditions, and maintain accurate logs while meeting production and scheduling goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks to transport soil, rock, and other materials on-site
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects
• Follow all safety procedures, traffic patterns, and site rules
• Communicate with dispatch, spotters, and equipment operators by radio
• Assist with basic cleaning and maintenance of the truck
• Maintain accurate logs and required documentation
• Adapt to changing site conditions, weather, and schedules
