Operating Room Nurse Ortho

This role involves working in a fast-paced, technologically driven environment providing preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care for orthopedic surgery patients. The successful candidate will be a crucial part of both minor and major orthopedic procedures, ensuring the highest standards of surgical care and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient conditions before, during, and after surgery, ensuring that all surgeries comply with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
• Setting up and maintaining sterile field and surgical instruments prior and during surgical procedures.
• Coordinating with surgical teams to facilitate effective communication and efficient patient care.
• Administering and managing medication as prescribed by attending healthcare providers.
• Monitoring patient recovery and compiling reports for healthcare teams to facilitate patient discharge or further treatment.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of surgical procedures and advancements in the field of orthopedic care.
