MRF Maintenance Manager

MarBorg Industries seeks a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) in Santa Barbara. In this role, you will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for conveyors, balers, compactors, and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient recycling operations. You will supervise a team of technicians, drive a strong safety culture, manage vendors and parts inventory, and implement continuous improvement to reduce downtime and support sustainable waste and recycling services for the local community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations for MRF equipment and facility systems
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Lead, schedule, and train maintenance technicians with strong focus on safety
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime
• Coordinate with operations to prioritize repairs and upgrades
• Manage maintenance budget, vendors, and parts inventory
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Track maintenance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
