Medical Assistant

Intermountain Health seeks a patient-centered Medical Assistant to support our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you'll room patients, obtain vitals and histories, assist providers with exams and minor procedures, perform injections, phlebotomy, and point-of-care tests, and maintain accurate EHR documentation. Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints
• Prepare exam rooms, instruments, and supplies, ensuring adherence to infection control standards
• Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, and treatments
• Perform phlebotomy, point-of-care tests, injections, and immunizations per protocol
• Accurately document care in the EHR and manage orders, referrals, and messages
• Support scheduling, check-in, and care coordination to optimize patient flow
• Educate patients on follow-up care, medications, and self-management resources
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives
