Retail Department Manager

Boscov's Department Store is seeking a Retail Department Manager to lead daily operations within our Retail Operations team. In this role, you will drive sales, oversee merchandising and inventory, manage and coach associates, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of an assigned retail department to achieve sales, profit, and customer service goals.
• Supervise, coach, and motivate sales associates, including staffing, scheduling, and performance feedback.
• Train associates on product knowledge, selling skills, customer service standards, and use of in-store technologies.
• Analyze sales, inventory, and KPI reports to identify trends and adjust strategies, merchandising, and staffing.
• Execute visual merchandising standards, floor sets, and promotional displays in alignment with company guidelines.
• Ensure accurate inventory management, including stock replenishment, markdowns, and shrink control.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalations promptly while reinforcing a customer-first culture.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, loss prevention procedures, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with store and corporate partners to implement new initiatives and technology-enabled services.
