An established medical device manufacturer is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join their team. Quick hire process!
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday
- 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Pay:
- $21.00 to $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and repetitive assembly operations using components and sub-assemblies in the company's product line in accordance with the strict guidelines for quality and consistency.
- Inspect and test precision parts and assemblies using precision measuring and testing equipment.
- Visually examine parts of completeness, work quality, and obvious defects.
- Assembly requires the utilization of small parts and tools and may also require the use of optical equipment and/or magnifiers.
- Hand winding very fine or small gauge wire.
- Solder PC boards.
- Utilize PC software, when required to perform the assembly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Able to read a bill of material.
- Very good manual dexterity skills must be able to proficiently handle very small parts.
- Able to communicate effectively in English; able to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent eye sight and able to use optical equipment.
- Able to operate standard test equipment.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production deadlines.
- Able to understand and maintain strict and consistent standards of quality.
- Must be organized, detailed oriented, reliable and able to work well as part of a team.
- Available for overtime, when needed.
- Attendance and punctuality are of the upmost importance.
