Engineer

Hilton Hotels is seeking an entry-level Engineer 1 to support property maintenance at our McLean, VA location. In this role, you'll perform routine repairs, basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC troubleshooting, and assist with guest room and public area maintenance. You'll complete work orders, support preventive maintenance programs, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met. Working closely with hotel operations teams, you'll help resolve issues quickly to protect guest comfort. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on hotel facilities, guest rooms, and equipment to ensure safety and comfort
• Respond promptly to work orders and guest requests, troubleshooting minor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues
• Conduct regular inspections of building systems, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to identify maintenance needs
• Support senior engineers and contractors during larger repair projects and preventive maintenance programs
• Maintain accurate logs of work performed, parts used, and equipment status in accordance with Hilton standards
• Follow safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and compliance guidelines for hotel operations
• Assist with setup, inspection, and breakdown of conference, event, and banquet equipment as needed
• Collaborate with housekeeping, front desk, and operations teams to minimize guest disruption during work
