Engineer Manager

Constellation Energy seeks an Engineering Manager to lead utility-scale energy projects across generation, transmission, and grid modernization. You will manage a team of engineers, oversee project design, implementation, and performance, and ensure regulatory and safety compliance. Partner with operations, IT, and finance to deliver reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable energy solutions. Responsibilities include resource planning, budget oversight, vendor coordination, and risk management. You will mentor staff, drive process improvements, and support innovation in clean energy and decarbonization initiatives aligned with Constellation's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers delivering utility-scale energy projects
• Oversee project design, execution, and performance across generation and grid assets
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource planning
• Coordinate with operations, IT, finance, and vendors to meet project goals
• Implement process improvements and engineering best practices
• Support grid modernization and clean energy initiatives
• Identify and mitigate technical and project risks
• Report project status and performance metrics to senior leadership
• Mentor engineers and support career development and training
