Housekeeper - Senior Living Facility

Friendship Village, a faith-based, not-for-profit senior living community, is seeking a Housekeeper to support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. In this role, you'll clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas; dust, vacuum, mop, and handle trash while following infection-control and safety standards. You'll restock linens and supplies, report maintenance issues, and interact warmly with residents and staff. Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and empty trash following infection-control standards
• Restock linens, towels, and supplies in resident areas
• Report maintenance and safety concerns promptly
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection-prevention procedures
• Assist with room turnarounds for new residents and special events
• Interact courteously with residents, families, and team members
• Adhere to organizational policies, schedules, and quality standards

Required Skills

• Environmental services/housekeeping in healthcare or senior living
• Knowledge of infection control and sanitation standards
• Safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, spot-cleaning carpets)
• Bathroom and hard-surface disinfection
• Linen handling and basic laundry procedures
• Basic inventory and supply restocking
• Following cleaning schedules and checklists
• OSHA and facility safety compliance
• Basic written and verbal communication
