Commercial Construction Superintendent

Barringer Construction seeks a Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial projects in our Construction Management department. You will lead daily site activities, manage subcontractors, enforce safety, and ensure quality, schedule, and budget compliance. Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and site logistics
• Enforce safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance on site
• Maintain schedule, track progress, and mitigate delays
• Monitor costs, minimize waste, and support budget adherence
• Interpret drawings and specifications, resolving field issues
• Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project documents
• Communicate effectively with project managers, owners, and design teams
• Document daily reports, RFIs, change conditions, and punch lists
• Mentor field staff and support continuous improvement practices
