Direct Support Professional - Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities

Provide person-centered residential support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. Assist with personal care, daily living activities, meals, medication administration, and community engagement while promoting safety, dignity, privacy, and independence. Maintain documentation, report concerns, and support consumers during crises.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered residential support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with personal hygiene, daily living activities, household tasks, and healthy routines.
• Prepare and serve meals, encourage nutrition, and complete cleanup.
• Administer approved medications according to guidelines.
• Transport consumers in program vehicles and support community engagement.
• Document assigned duties and report crises, unusual incidents, or concerns.
