Automotive Maintenance Technician I

Cox Automotive is hiring an Auto Maintenance Tech I to keep our fleet and shop vehicles safe, reliable, and ready for our telecommunications and media operations. In this entry-level technician role, you'll perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and light to moderate repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting basic electrical and mechanical issues, completing work orders accurately, and following all safety and environmental procedures. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet and shop vehicles
• Diagnose and complete light to moderate mechanical and electrical repairs
• Document work performed, parts used, and inspection results in maintenance systems
• Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines in the shop and field
• Assist with vehicle readiness to support Cox Automotive telecommunications and media operations
• Collaborate with senior technicians and supervisors to prioritize work orders
• Use diagnostic tools, service manuals, and technical bulletins to troubleshoot issues
• Maintain shop tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area
