Job Description
Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will perform CT scans, ensure patient safety and comfort, and follow physician protocols while maintaining radiation safety standards. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, operating CT equipment, starting IVs and administering contrast, and accurately documenting in PACS/EMR. You'll collaborate with nurses, radiologists, and other clinicians to support excellent patient care. Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT scans according to physician orders and protocols
- Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure comfort and safety
- Start IVs and administer contrast with appropriate monitoring and documentation
- Apply radiation safety and infection control standards at all times
- Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment and related imaging systems
- Document procedures accurately in PACS and EMR systems
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinicians to coordinate care
- Respond appropriately to patient changes or emergencies in the imaging suite
