HVAC Team Lead

Jetson Home is seeking an HVAC Team Lead to oversee installation, maintenance, and optimization of home HVAC and electrification systems integrated with solar, storage, and EV charging. You'll lead a small field team, plan daily workloads, ensure quality, safety, and code compliance, and collaborate with software and hardware engineers to troubleshoot advanced smart-home and energy-management setups. You'll train technicians, document best practices, and partner with operations to improve schedules, reduce callbacks, and deliver an outstanding homeowner experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and schedule HVAC technicians for residential projects integrating solar, storage, and EV charging.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC and smart-home controls to meet quality and safety standards.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of HVAC, controls, and connected energy systems on-site.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, manufacturer guidelines, and Jetson Home standards.
• Train and mentor technicians on best practices, safety, and new technologies.
• Coordinate with operations, software, and hardware teams to resolve complex field issues.
• Conduct site assessments and verify system designs and load calculations as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and system configurations.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners, setting expectations and explaining system operation.
• Identify opportunities to improve field processes, reduce callbacks, and enhance customer experience.
