As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will support a corrections environment by screening individuals and belongings, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will maintain a professional presence, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and help promote an orderly location. Pay Rate: $19.70 / Hour

Tue 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Wed 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or other authorized individuals while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Screen individuals and authorized property entering the facility using established procedures and screening equipment.
  • Verify identification, access authorization, and visitor documentation in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, prohibited-item findings, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain accurate screening-related logs and promptly report unusual activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
