Retail Sales Lead

Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate-PT to support daily retail operations in our New Richland, MN store. Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving basic concerns at the sales floor and register
• Operate the cash register and point-of-sale system accurately, process cash, card, and other transactions, and balance the drawer as assigned
• Serve as a lead sales associate and key support to store management, modeling company standards and helping direct other associates during shifts
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including securing the store, counting cash, and preparing registers and sales floor for business
• Stock shelves and displays according to planograms, rotate product, and ensure merchandise is faced, priced, and organized for easy customer access
• Monitor inventory levels on the sales floor, identify low or out-of-stock items, and help with backroom organization and product replenishment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly store environment, including aisles, checkout area, restrooms, and backroom spaces
• Support loss prevention efforts by following company policies, monitoring for suspicious activity, and accurately following cash and merchandise handling procedures
• Communicate effectively with the store manager and team members to share updates, address priorities, and contribute to a collaborative work environment
• Uphold company values and policies while delivering a consistent, positive shopping experience to every customer
