Insurance Sales Agent - K-12 Educator Markets

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate leads within K-12 schools and the local education community
• Conduct needs-based consultations on auto, home, life, supplemental, and retirement products
• Prepare quotes, present coverage options, and close new business to meet sales goals
• Deliver on-site presentations and workshops for educators and school staff
• Maintain and grow a book of business through ongoing service and relationship management
• Use CRM tools to manage pipeline, track activities, and document client interactions
• Ensure all sales and service activities comply with insurance regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with local and regional Horace Mann teams on marketing and community events
• Provide timely policy reviews and coverage recommendations to existing clients
• Participate in professional development and licensing/continuing education requirements
