Customer Service Specialist

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to deliver exceptional support to retail, contractor and industrial customers in our manufacturing-focused paint and coatings business. In this full-time role, you'll guide customers in selecting the right products, manage orders, process transactions and help resolve issues quickly and professionally. You'll maintain a safe, organized store, support inventory and merchandising, and collaborate with sales and operations teams. Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable support to retail, contractor and industrial customers in a Sherwin-Williams store environment
• Assist customers in selecting paints, coatings and related products based on application, surface, and performance requirements
• Accurately process sales transactions, returns and special orders using point-of-sale systems
• Coordinate and monitor orders, tinting, color matching and timely product preparation for pickup or delivery
• Maintain store appearance, stock shelves and ensure product displays are organized and safe
• Resolve customer issues promptly, escalating complex problems to supervisors when needed
• Collaborate with sales, operations and manufacturing partners to meet customer timelines and quality expectations
• Follow all safety, inventory control and cash-handling procedures in line with company policies
• Support new product launches and promotions by staying current on Sherwin-Williams' product portfolio
• Participate in ongoing training and development to build product knowledge and advance within the organization
