Join Our Team as a Medical Courier Driver!
Become a vital part of our mission to deliver essential medical supplies safely and efficiently to healthcare facilities in the Brandon Tampa, FL Area.
Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Location: Brandon Tampa, Fl
Schedule: 3/4 Split 6 am- 6 pm 2 Routes/Day
Compensation: Weekly Settlement Compensation Flat rate for route + additional income from dedicated on-demand deliveries
Job Details:
This contract will have a guaranteed/dedicated route and require drivers to remain in the designated area from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, ready to assist with on-demand orders when not completing the dedicated route. Drivers receive a flat rate payment for the dedicated route, with the potential to earn additional income from dedicated on-demand deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Be available and ready to respond to on-demand medical deliveries during scheduled hours
- Safely transport sensitive medical materials between hospitals, emergency rooms, and other medical facilities
- Provide outstanding customer service and uphold our commitment to excellence
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliable car, van, or SUV with 100/300/50 insurance coverage limits
- Willingness to undergo background check, MVR review, and drug screening
- Availability to remain in the designated service area during shift hours
- Ability to download and operate multiple mobile apps
Please Note:
All independent contractors are paid via the OpenForce platform. As part of this process, weekly settlements will be subject to applicable fees. This may include a System Resource Subscription fee, a Gill Logistics administrative fee, and an Occupational Accident Insurance premium (if elected) - unless you or your business entity already carries comparable workers' compensation coverage. Full details will be provided during the final steps of onboarding and contract review.
