Membership Sales and Retention Specialist

Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois seeks a Membership Growth & Retention Specialist to drive recruitment and retention of girl and adult members across northern Illinois. In this sales and relationship-focused role, you'll build partnerships with schools and community groups, conduct outreach events, and guide families through the joining process. Using data and CRM tools, you'll track pipelines, analyze membership trends, and deliver excellent customer service to ensure a positive Girl Scout experience. Responsibilities

• Grow Girl Scout membership by executing targeted recruitment and retention strategies across assigned communities
• Conduct outreach presentations and tabling events with schools, community partners, and families to promote Girl Scout programs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with volunteers, caregivers, and community organizations to support membership growth
• Track membership data, analyze trends, and report on progress toward enrollment and retention goals
• Collaborate with program, marketing, and volunteer support teams to align campaigns and ensure a positive member experience
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, guiding families through registration, and resolving membership concerns
• Support and occasionally lead recruitment events, open houses, and community fairs, including some evenings and weekends
• Use CRM and other digital tools to manage pipelines, follow-up activities, and communications with prospects and current members
