Senior Foodservice Buyer

Coordinate purchasing for assigned foodservice product categories by sourcing suppliers, negotiating pricing and quantity terms, and maintaining product availability. Manage purchase orders, inventory, supplier reviews, and customer requests while supporting sales programs and category performance.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders and manage vendor confirmations, deliveries, and inventory.
• Source products that meet quality and price requirements for customers and the company.
• Review categories with suppliers and brokers to identify growth and training opportunities.
• Support pricing negotiations for sales promotions and purchasing programs.
• Manage slow-moving, obsolete, and shrink-prone inventory and develop action plans.
• Coordinate purchasing issues and customer requests with sales, customer service, vendors, and company personnel.
